Senior Consultant, Marketing Sciences
As support to the Head of Marketing Sciences in leading and managing client projects, you will be confident in your analytical, marketing and commercial skills such that you can deliver compelling ‘so what’ strategic recommendations from analysis and insight. You will have a deep understanding of the commercial pharmaceutical environment to help solve forecasting and quantification challenges that our client’s may face in ‘valuing strategy’. You will also be capable of using this understanding to lead our client’s thinking, think beyond the obvious and thereby identify options for developing true competitive advantage.
You need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record in a variety of pharmaceutical commercial and ideally service provider positions (but not a must have). This need not have been in pure Market Research or Business Intelligence but knowledge of key pharmaceutical databases is important. What we are looking for is a commercial orientation irrespective of client side role.
Good understanding of forecasting and the thinking behind quantitative research and statistical methods along with strong analytical and problem solving skills are required. You will also have the skill to develop and present clear, logical approaches plus the ability to manage projects and accounts.
Finally, as a key member of the Marketing Sciences team you will also play a part in developing the business, extending business within existing clients and actively helping to develop new client opportunities.
UK based but willingness and ability to travel, in UK and Europe, and possibly RoW, is important.
